Could you please help me in finding the MySQL counterpart of Oracle Jobs, if any?

Dear r937, Thank you for replying.
BY Oracle Job, I mean an asynchronous stored procedure executed at a time interval. I think Events in MySQL is its counterpart.

Yes EVENTS is the MySQL counterpart for Oracle jobs.
