MySQL Replication

Sorry for basic question as am still quite new with MySQL. Years ago we used product from Sybase (SQLAnywhere) whereas remote users had both software and database on their laptop. When they came back to the office and attached to network the data between their system would be migrated back to main server, and main server back to their laptop.

I have read a few articles on MySQL replication and don't know if it goes both ways or not?

Thanks

My Sql Replication

hi there

we can have both way replication in mysql. But it is not recommended to use two way replication. IN order to perform two way replication in mysql you can check out the steps at Salman's Blog: Dual-Master MySQL 5 Replication
