MySQL upgradation

Hi,

I have a server running with default mysql 5.0 which is default for centos and will there be any security problem in future if we upgrade the mysql to 5.1??

Not unless you install the server in a different way from recommendations. If you follow the standards then there is equal security risk from the original version to the new version.
