MySQL MEDIUMTEXT shows up as OLE Object in Access2k

I have been trying to convert an Access2k database to MySQL. This is my first experience with MySQL. I found some good scripts for converting the structure, and have had no problems creating the database.

When I import the data (through INSERT statements) and then re-connect to MySQL from Access through ODBC, all of the MEDIUMTEXT fields show up as OLE Objects.

Any thoughts?
