There's a field with timestamp type in the table I'm visiting.Now I want to insert a record into the table.
code in vc++:
CDaoDatabase myDatabase;
CString strODBC;
//set the odbc
...
myDatabase.Open(NULL,FALSE,FALSE,strODBC);

CString strSQL;
strSQL.Format("insert into my_table values(...,'20031218',...)");
myDatabase.Execute(strSQL);
...

When it runs "myDatabase.Execute(strSQL)",an error occurs--"Can't update 'timestamp_field',field not updateable".
I just don't know what on earth the matter is and I'm going crazy.
