hi,

after installing mySQL, I' ve been trying out the different example programs that come with the package.

when I try the example named "test_stc" in the "embedded/static/release" directory, everything goes fine:
after a while I get a DOS-window with a list of the databases located in my "mysql/data" directory....

But when I test "test_dll" from the "embedded/DLL" directory, the program crashes.

How does this come?
And how do I fix it?
(I think this might be the type of program/example I just need, and *bummer*, it's just the example that doesn't work :-( )

PS: compiler = VC++ 6.0
OS = win98 second ed
