which files do i need for backup?

in the c:\mysql\data directory there are a bunch of files and folders....
If i wanted to do a complete backup of a specific database called "people" ---> is this the only folder i need to back up? c:\mysql\data\people\

But you have to be sure that mysql server is not working before.
