connecting to mysql error?

Hi,
My asp.net project is having problems connecting to mysql. I've downloaded mySqlclient @ http://www.sevenobjects.com/MySqlClient.aspx as my data provider. And when I try to connect I get this error "Unable to connect to Host: Can't connect to MySQL server on 'localhost' (10061) (2003)" and I have no idea what the problem could be. If anybody can help please do so. Thanks in advance.
