<> question?

Hello everyone,
I'm writing my sql statement in an xml file therefore I can't use the <> sign. I was wondering if "<>" is the equivilant of "<>". If not, then what is?

Thanks,

xayavon

to write "less than or greater than" in mysql, you would actually write <>
