Logging MySQL database searches

On my site, I have a "basic" and "advanced" search. Is there a log by default, or logging software i can install that will tell me how much of a load each search is putting on the server, and will tell me how may searches are being done and their execution time?

You can use -l [file] in you r MySQl configuration to log every query and connexion
