Question MySQL Connecting to MS SQL

Ok here's my dilemna:

Our new company we acquired has an MS SQL database that we want to connect to (and create a web based front end to it).

We DO NOT want MS SQL on our end. We prefer to use our MySQL server.

Will MyODBC allow this connection between the two servers? Or what other options are there?
