mysql in Windows2003

Hi I installed a mysql server on Windows 2003 server and I installed a control center But I dont know how to connect to a mysql from control center it gives me error "Connot connet to mysql server" mqybe it is because of the username and password but I dont know the default user name and password?
Also where I can start the server to run.
pls help me as soon as possible.
