Talking ODBC and Access

Alright I'm a newbie to databases, MySQL, and MS access so be nice. Anyways I've managed to set up MySQL and the Microsoft ODBC. Access can connect to the MySQL server just fine. Access reads all the tables and records just fine, but I can't insert a new record into a table. From what I can see Access is saying the table is read only. The user id that I'm using to connect with has all privileges. Is there anyway to do this or am I missing something?? Thanks
