Access MySQL from USS

Greetings,
We would like to access a MySQL data base running on SuSE Linux SLES7 (which is running under VM OS/390) from our Unix System Services running inside our MVS Z/OS 1.4. I guess we need some kind of ODBC driver....does one exist and if so where? Any other words of wisdom would be appreciated as well.
Thanks
