I am looking for a makeshift solution to a problem. I just recently took over as Sysadmin for www.wintergreensys.com after the previous sysadmin quit. Our current e-commerce site is quite hopelessly broken and almost beyod repair as it was custom written in Java with no documentation of following of conventions. It is no longer submitting orders to be processed. I am developing a replacement system in ASP .NET but in the mean time need to be able to retrieve the orders that are getting stuck in our MYSQL DB.

I am currently able to go in and manualy run a query to display any new orders, and I then forward it to a sales rep. What I want to do is have an e-mail sent whenever a new order is placed to my sales staff. I am running mandrake and modify the Java code is not an option.
