String adding ..

Hi all

I'm trying to get something like this working:

SELECT 'aa' + value + 'aa' as blah from lib;

which i want to return:
aa1aa
aa2aa
aa3aa

but it returns:
1
2
3

value is an INT field.
does anybody have a solution to my problem?

Look up the concat function in your MySQL documentation.
