Switching from ASP to ASP.Net 3.5

Hi There! I joined this forum to get some questions answered and hopefully maybe even answer some. Am currently switching from ASP to ASP.Net and to Visual Studio 2008 with SQL Server 2008. Any suggestions on the ASP switch would be gladly accepted. Thank you.
