[Quasimojo]

Hello. I've been working with Microsoft SQL Server for over 10 years now, so most of my DB-related browsing has been done in their forums. As of late, I've taken an interest in open source alternatives, as I consider various side projects. These projects are kind of a "branching out" for me, a means of expanding my horizons a bit, so to speak.

As such, I've been spending some time with Linux and have settled on PostgreSQL as my database backend. I hope to get up to speed soon and productive with a LAPP stack - perhaps even entertain the notion of supplementing my income with it at some point.

Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself. Looking forward to helping out and being helped.
