Hello Everyone

Hi everybody,
I am currently working in the criminal justice system but I decided to switch fields and now I am working on my Masters in Computer Sciences. My first two classes are on Java and database. So far, the java programming has been a little difficult to get used to but the database class has been really easy.

There are many things I need to learn, as any other newbie, but I am sure I will. I used to work in DOS before Windows 95 and it was pretty easy to me.

BTW, if you don't know what Windows 95 looks like, it means I am a lot older than you.

hi

We both have the same interest in learning. I would also want to learn java and any database and so to start with, I would like someone to explain how and where to start. I am really determined to learn all these things.
