Hello Everyone! Newbie here.

I would like to say hello and I am glad to have found this forum. I am totally new to programming in VB and Microsoft Access so I will probably be frequenting this site alot with a ton of questions. I have worked for 10 years in the electrical/instrumentation field along with automation. I have been really focusing hard on the automation side the last 2 to 3 years. I've noticed how the industrial automation/IT line is not so definitive any more. I know in our automation department we have several people that have been working with Access along with VB to make tools to make our jobs easier. Only recently have I finally taken an interest in doing so as well. I don't have the money to pay for training or take any college courses at the moment so I am leaning on those folks that I work with that have experience with it along with the internet. Anyways that about sums it up.
