Hi all,

As the title implies, I am a newbie when it comes to databases. I have no real knowledge of any of the various languages. However, I have an idea that I was curious about, mainly to see if it is possible to construct....if you'd like to give it a stab I have created a new thread in the appropriate sub forum:

As for the introduction, I am a college student majoring in CIS and business management. My area of expertise is more so on the hardware side although I do know my fair share about the software side of things as well. I work for a national insurance firm in their IT department. The above question was proposed to me by said company.
