Password change in Oracle SQL Developer

Just started with a new company and have a default login pw for Oracle SQL Developer 3.0.0.2. I have searched online and through the help menu and can not find how to change my password. Any ideas? Thanks,

Do you want to change the password for the Oracle user or do you want to change the password that SQL Developer has stored?

I have no idea what you mean with "click on the table", but the Oracle user password can be changed with ALTER USER

Check the manual for details:

Your Mother should be proud of you for being so clever.
Why did you take the time to register, share this incredible knowledge with us,
while responding to a thread that is almost 2 years old?

beats paying for something like Golden32

I registered just to commend your attitude. We need more netizens like guru2012 who add answers to questions that show up in the top of search engines like this one... even at the risk of deflating a few fragile egos.

anacedent, it seems unlikely that karlthepagan is a sockpuppet. You can glean this from the fact that he's making fewer typos in his post than guru2012 tends to.

And as karl has correctly pointed out, guru2012 has clearly done a good thing here, adding value to a post that comes up high in Google searches for exactly this question. It's certainly helped me. Not sure what's wrong with that.

xkcd 386 is strong in you though. I like that in a man. I often feel the same.
