Replicating MySQL to Oracle

Hi,

My organization uses MySQL and Oracle in different productions systems. We are finding a need to replicate some of the MySQL data into an Oracle database in near-real time.

Does anyone here know of inexpensive (free?) tools to help with this?

I've read a fair bit about MySQL's master-slave replication, and was wondering if I could hook into this to roll my own solution. Has anyone tries anything similar?

Thanks for any advice you can give,
