I installed Oracle8i Rel 3 on Solaris 8.
Install went fine, but when I tried to invoke SQL*Plus I got the
following error messages:
Message file sp1<lang>.msb not found
Error 6 initializing SQL*Plus

I set PATH, ORACLE_HOME and ORACLE_SID in .cshrc file.

Please, help!

Looks like You don't have LD_LIBRARY_PATH variable set in your .cshrc file. I would also recommend to check if you correctly set and exported ORACLE_HOME and ORACLE_SID variables.

I always forget about LD_LIB... variable.
I set it now and everything works fine.

Since you have two ORACLE_HOMEs now, you have to specify which one you want SQL*Plus to start from: DB or Developer...

Set the ORACLE_HOME and ORACLE_SID first, then invoke the SQL*Plus.
