Async I/O

I had Upgraded my Server by Installation new Sco-Patches for unixware 7.1.0 after installing the patches. My server manager starts but it gives a message as unable to open async file permission denied. but all the permissions or available to the owner oracle on this files when i try to change the permissions on this file than the svrmgrl get hangs and it wont allow to start the database
