You assumption is right!

Hi

You can simply make an export on Solaris platform and import it on Windows 2000, no problem.

Make sure that RDBMS versions are the same (or Windows 2000 database where your importing in is higher version than Solaris)

Good luck!

Remi

Hi Ken Doh,

The clue that remivisser gave you is the word exporting or export.

Bung this into Oracle's OTN or even a good search engine and you'll get loads of useful stuff back.

A little bit of self learning/teaching can go a long way.

Please only post back here if you are having REAL problems with the actual EXP command itself.....
