Unhappy Oracle9i for NT expected mid-September 2001

Unfortunately, Oracle9i for NT is not expected until mid-September this year. So.. need to install Linux on my pc I guess...

Oh no! Wonder what the problem is? I've been waiting patiently and checking every day for it!

I'd install the Linux version on this server if you could do the install remotely. Actually, I'm seriously thinking about installing Sybase on this and porting these forums over. I'll need to ask MattR for tips. He's ported his forums over at http://www.fanhome.com/.

I've actually just installed / configured Sybase/PHP twice in the last two days so I'm going to write a quick-install guide for people on Linux (e.g. no gui install). GUI install is very easy but most people don't have that so it is a little more complex.
