Hi folks,

I have an old application, written in Visual c++ I think. The hint to Visual C++ I have, when I opened the exe File in Notepad. There I found:

"Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library, Runtime Error!, Program: ... <program name unknown>..."

I need to open the database files of that application, which are named *.dat and *.idx (for the index). Does anybody know, how to open these database files in Access or Excel or something similar?
