We are using an old dos program using foxbase 2.10 on a new XP computer
The program works fine and prints via LPT1
The printout starts without delay but stops and holds on to the last couple of lines
After about 20 seconds it releases the remaining print
It will also release if the program goes back to dos
In foxpro there is a command "set printer to" which resets the LPT1 and solves the problem but this is not available in foxbase 2.10
Is there a simple solution other than using a program like printfil
