AcuCobol DataFiles

Does anyone have experience exporting data from an AcuCobol database? VUtil32 incorrectly formats the data when I export it. What do I need to do in order to make sure it is formatted properly?

Has anyone used AcuXDBC? Will that product allow me to have a direct connection to the data? Is it a standalone product or does it have to be installed into the AcuCobol suite?

I appreciate any help you can provide. Thanks.
