regarding teradata

hi all

i am planning to learn teradata..would u please tell me where i can download the free version of the TERADATA...i browsed teradata.com but i couldnt find any info regarding this...

I've never heard of such a thing as a free version of Terradata. They'd have to somehow separate the software from their hardware, and that is something that they've never given serious thought as far as I can tell.

If you find such a thing, I'd like to know about it! Good luck.

You can order a demo CD from Teradata.com. The version is 5.0 though (the latest is 6.0). You have the option to set the DB size to either 256MB or 1GB. The software is fully functional.
