We use the Merant driver, now known as DataDirect. Just do a search on DataDirect, and select a flat-file single user driver in the download section. then you'll see Pervasive and you'll be able to download the appropriate file.

It is not cheap though and comes at a price. You can try it with an 'eval' licence but I belive that it will not let you post to the database, just read from it.

Have you heard of OpenLink Software?

You can download a single tier driver which you can use in conjunction with the Betrieve native driver to gain connectivity from other O/S's

I think you will find it is slightly cheaper the DataDirect??

But again the Eval downloads are still available.
