The company I work for uses ACT! 4.0 for their Sales Database. I need to use it for a Production Contacts Database. I was able to create the database and enter my contacts, but when I modified the fields, they were modified in the Sales Database as well...this won't work since the fields for both databases are quite different. I can't figure out how to separate the new Production Database from the existing Sales Database. This probably has something to do with the fact that our database is shared/networked? Any help would be appreciated!
