Converting Excel into Access

Hi, I'm new to this forum. I am developing a website for a client, which contains an Access Database.

The client already has the data into an Excel Spreadsheet.

We need to import the data from Excel into the Access DB. Problem is, the fieldnames are different and more fieldnames had to be created for the Access DB. So I cannot do an Export...

Because the Excel contains thousands of records, re-entering the records manually is just not an option.

If someone can direct me to the right direction with this or if someone can write a program to accomplish this, you can send me an email to fcoloccia(at)cubitalnet.com

Thank you!
