Documenting old Solid DB

At a client site, there is an old release of Solid (2.3 iirc) that needs to be looked at, as in upgraded or migrated to something else. However, the client has no documentation regarding the schema of the DB and before deciding what to do with it I need to find some way to properly document it. I would like a good DB diagram to start with if possible.

I installed the Solid ODBC driver that the client has with that release and tried to have Visio reverse engineer the schema to develop a diagram but that crapped out on me. Is there any other way that any one knows about to document and produce a diagram of this database?

-Thanks
