Ingres equivalent of openquery

I can query an Ingres database from SQL Server using the openquery function but is there a way to do the same thing from the Ingres side?

Hello,

Yes you can, and this is named "enterprise access" or "gateway to (oracle, mssql, etc)".

Check the Ingres Corp web site (http://www.ingres.com) for details ... this option is not open source nor on the GPL2 licence.

Hope this help,

Best regards.
