Determine database

I have a large number of files I need to convert to standard sql or csv... either I can work with. The files I believe are in Mirco Focus format (I think version 3) but I've tried to open them with pervasive tools to see if it can convert them. It does not recognize the files. Here are some samples of what the files look like when view with a text edit. (extension are .dat, .das, .idx).. So have to open them on a windows system. be right back.

OK, I can't copy and paste because of the special characters in the files. It looks a bit like btrieve.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
