I have a client with an application based on Progress 4GL or RDBMS; the requirement is for a transfer (or interrogation) of a select set of data that resides in the progress database to our system on a regular basis (mainly monthly). Not being technical; this to me sounds that it should be straight forward to receive or pull data from a relational database. Our initial response (from Progress; I believe) was not clear cut on how to achieve this.

Have you guys any ideas or where I can find some helpful information?
