I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right place but I'm wondering what's the simplest way to grant multiple users access to an Excel db at the same time. At the moment we can only access it one at a time.

I'm pretty sure that only one user can access an Excel spread sheet at a time, I don't think that multiple users are supported within Excel.

You could load the spreadsheet into Google Apps and multiple users can access it from there.
