I'm hoping that there are still old guys like me out there who sre still using the DOS version of R Base.

This is my problem that started a few years ago, starting after I restored from a major crash.

If I go to the R: Prompt and perform a "prom edit" of various data using an "operator" of = (equals), I get the correct resultant data.

However, if I perform the identical operation in terms of data requested but using an "operator' of contains, I only get data up to the date of the restore, none that is dated after it.

Any ideas of what could be the issue?
