Hey all,

Im relatively new to SQL but im having a problem with open office. i have a table with columns in it (each column having around 16000 rows), with random rows filled with value. problem is that i need to fill the rest of the empty fields with a value of some sort automatically without loosing the other fields already filled.

I have created a front end Java based Gui through Netbeans only the rows selected stop where there is an empty field.

any help will be very much appecreciated and valued
