.dat & .idx files
Is anyone has any viewer software to open .dat & .idx files?

If the files are created by some particular software, you will need a viewer that understands the content format.

If you only want to see the data (in hex), use any file viewer that allows you to look at files without reformatting them.

.dat and .idx are used by (possibly among others) MicroFocus Cobol. The .dat file is the data portion, and the .idx is the index(es).
