Were you able to resolve this problem? I am having the exact same problem and have tried everything I can think of for 2 days now.

It can be done.

I created the database with the table and columns you describe and ran your asp code. The row was added without any problem. Also able to insert a row using ODBC from withing VFP.

Are you able to insert to the database from VFP?
