Ingres ODBC data source on Windows 2000 server

I've been trying to set up an Ingres ODBC data source on a Windows 2000 server. I'm using Ingres ODBC driver version 2.8.
When I press the 'Test' button in the Ingres ODBC Administrator I get the error message:

[CA][Ingres ODBC Driver][Ingres]Requested association partner is unavailable 13172737

The same datasource works fine on a Windows NT machine.

I've searched the CA online 'help' but have found no clues. Anyone know why I'm getting this error?

hi

if you are connecting ingres on local,if will be configuration problem and check the protocol.

if you are connecting to remote ingres then surely i will be a WinTcp protocol problem

check the WinTcp on both ends.
