Does anyone of you succesfully connected UniVerse with any ODBC reporting/analisis tool, specially Cognos Impromptu?

Could you please comment on performance and security?

There used to be a product name HyperStar from VMARK to allows linking to Universe account using ODBC. It also contains samples on how to retrieve data. With this product, what is required is setup rather than program coding.

Note: VMARK named have been changed to Ardent --> Informix --> IBM
