Question Ingres ODBC connection

I am trying to connect a Windows 2000 Server to an Ingres database running on a Unix workstation. I have installed the Ingres ODBC software on the Windows 2000 server, but I am unable to select a V-Node other than "local". Anyone have any ideas? I am not very good with Unix.

Thanks

You have to make a new v-node for your odbc-connection.
This can be done with netutils.

You can configure the ODBC connection from the control panel - ODBC Sources.

netutil runs from a dos command, although I prefer to use (and find it easier) Visual DBA

The ODBC Driver can be downloaded from:

Good luck
