How do I open an ADT file

I work for a company that has a MS SQL 2000 based database. A client sent us some files from a system that appear to be Advatage files (*.ADT) Does anyone know how I would be able to open these files and convert them to ASCII format or SQL format. Even Access or Fox Pro would work.
