I am running Ingres 2.6 on Windows 2000 with CA's Cleverpath ECM tool connecting to it. ECM has a connpool field that can be increased to support more transaction. I've set the inbound_limit and connect limit on the ingres server to 500. If I try to get ECM to connect with more than 200 though, the DBMS goes down on number 200. Even if I have two ECM servers connecting with 120 each, the second server will get errors on number 80 (200 overall) and bring down the DBMS on the Ingres server. This same thing happens on two separate configurations with different memory allocations. Exactly 200. Any ideas?
