Ingress ODBC 'vnode' entry.

I am trying to connect a Windows 2000 Server to an Ingres database running on a Unix server. I have installed the Ingres ODBC (V2.80.00.72 software on the Windows 2000 server, but I am unable to select a V-Node other than "local". After creating a new 'vnode' entry in the Unix server using the "netu" utility, I created a new ODBC DSN again but still see the V-Node as "local" only. Why? Please helpppp?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

May be a bit late but, have you install & declare your odbc driver as a System DSN ?

You will need to create a new odbc connection in ODBC sources under system dsn on the windows server. When you add the source choose the ingres odbc driver, and fill in the blanks.

Hope this helps

sorry, forgot to say - the blanks you need to fill in will be the Ingres DB on the UNIX servers details.
