Progress connection using ASP

I found this forum using google searching for a resolution to a "system error 126" problem. when trying to connect to a progress database using ASP through ODBC with MERANT 3.60 SQL92 driver i get that error.

i found this archive:
http://dbforums.com/arch/192/2002/12/637049

This has no resolution though. Has anyone else run across this problem and overcome it?

Hi

When this problem occurs with the OpenLink SQL-89 or SQL-92 ODBC driver, it usually means you need to add specific settings to your environment.

Typically these are

PATH=$DLC;$DLC\bin;OpenLinkDir\lite32 folder
DLC must be set as well.

Hope this helps
